How to Make a Chart in Microsoft Excel

If you have large numerical excel data then you can make your data more attractive and comparative with the help of chart function in MS Excel. To use this function, follow below the simple and easy steps.

Create a Chart in MS Excel

Step 1: The very first step is to open your excel spreadsheet or crate a dummy data to perform this function.

Step 2: In the next step you need to drag and select the whole table.

Step 3: After selecting the whole table go to the Insert tab and click on the Insert Line or Area Chart option.

Step 4: After clicking on markers lines, select and of design and see the result below

If you want to change the styles of the chart then, follow below the simple and easy steps.

Change Chart Type

Step 1: Go to the Insert tab click on the Recommended Chats, below is the result, scroll down or up to see more recommendations.

If you want more designs and patterns follow the next step.

Step 2: Click on the, All Charts option which is just right side of Recommended Charts, after this you will see like this:

From the list on the left side choose any option and see recommended charts and choose your best one, for example, I have selected Column in the above image and these two are the show data with above available designs.

You can change your design or style from the list.
